Boo and Happy Halloween. It was a very frosty start to the day here, 22 degrees. I hurried outside to photograph before the sun warmed everything up.

These little faces peered out from the birdhouse
And this little guy was having Halloween treats in a nearby crabapple

Happy Halloween to you too! The new birdhouse tenants are adorable as is that cute bear! Frost and 22 degrees is pretty scary (that’s about as cold as it ever gets here in the middle of winter.)
Thanks Peter… The cute bear raided the bird feeders last night and had a little trick or treating of his/her own.
It was nearly 90 degrees today. The Santa Ana Winds are blowing in parts of Southern California. It does somehow get cool at night though.
Love that dragonfly! I can’t believe that you had a bear! My sister in Littleton has had a bear recently, too. Looks like their numbers are on the rise.
