Fairyland. That’s what the garden looks like right now. All the little spring things are blooming and there is magic happening. The plants sure like the cool spring weather we are having and the blooms are lasting a long time.

Flowering almond?!? I did not know that anyone grew that. Flowering apricot is almost as rare now. There is a ‘desert almond’ that I have not seen in many years, although it is not nearly as pretty. I just like it because it is native to Mojave Desert and some coastal desert regions.
Tony: The flowering almond was here when we moved in. We had one in New Hampshire when I lived there as a kid.
